TAFCOP platform serves as a valuable resource for individuals to review the status of mobile numbers associated with their identity and take appropriate steps to regularize any additional connections.
The TAFCOP Portal was introduced with the aim of assisting consumers in verifying the mobile connections associated with their name and facilitating the necessary steps for regularization of any additional connections they may have. It’s important to note that the primary responsibility for managing the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) still rests with the service providers. The services offered through this platform include notifying consumers with more than nine multiple connections in their name via SMS.
Services Available on the Portal:
The Portal provides the following services:
- SMS alerts for customers or subscribers with more than nine multiple connections.
- Login and status checking require a valid cell number.
- Access to Request Status and Ticket ID Reference Numbers.
Features of the Portal:
- SMS Alerts for Excessive Connections: Subscribers with more than nine connections in their name will receive SMS notifications through the portal. Upon receiving this alert, all subscribers can take necessary actions by accessing the portal.
- Registration of Complaints: Subscribers may simply register complaints about shady or fraudulent activity on their mobile connections using the TAFCOP portal’s user-friendly interface. Online complaints may be filed, and their progression may be followed. A distinct “Ticket ID Reference Number” will be produced once an online request is submitted and used for tracking.
- Request Status Checking: Subscribers can conveniently check the status of their requests by logging in to the portal and utilizing the “request status” feature. To access this service, a valid “Ticket ID Reference Number” is required.
- Deactivation or Blocking of Unused Numbers: Subscribers now have the option to deactivate or block mobile numbers that they may have issued but are no longer using.
- Active Mobile Number Verification: Subscribers can log in to the portal to verify the status of their currently active and inactive mobile numbers.
